383 hits oilpan. Also what holds the cam rear?
Installing a 383 crank and it hits my oil diffuser tray. Do I just put some washers under it of with the 4" crank do I have to eliminate it?
Also I am assembling this motor from a box of parts. What holds the rear of the camshaft in? Right now I can install the cam from the front and push it out the rear. With the front plate on and gear it will stay in place but is there any plate for the rear?

I had to use 2 washers under each main stud and do some tapping around and grinding on my windage tray with my 4.125 stroke crank.
I also had to do some grinding on the oil pan for a rod bolt on the #2 rod.
