Default 67mm=700hp???

my current setup is a 370 iron block, with stock 6.0 heads, 15cc dish pistons, 226-228@588-588 114lsa. sheet metal intake. with 55lb injectors. stock trottle body. running thro a t56. the turbo is a t67, that came out of a sts kit. im making it a front mount of course. but should i be able to see 700+hp with this setup, or should i get a t76????

you'd be maxing out the T67 at 700 WHP

Better get a t76 IMO, especially with a 370 and even with a 346 if you want to push it.

your 370 will max out and spool that 67 pretty quick
should try it out, then go bigger like a t76

I seriously think there was something wrong with your setup. I'm running 17 psi from my T76GTS on 388 cid with the 40 mm wastegate wide open. I've been as high as 23 psi. I'm not alone either. We were easily able to get 18 psi from another T76GTS on 377 cid on an engine dyno, and it wasn't max'd out. The larger 4276 should be able to do at least 25 psi only 370 cid.

That said, I don't think a 67 mm is a great match for 370 cid.

Ya I thought the gt42-76 was better/bigger than the gts76 and have heard it make allot of boost on stock to 370ish cubes. Not calling bullshit though b/c he knows his stuff for sure. Every combo is different and psi is a measure of restriction, jsut ask him how much power he made is a better question. Especially with a well laid out t6 flange Either way thought the t-67 is way too small for a 346 and like I already mentioned is even small for a 346 if its pushed at all.

My T66 was done at 8-10psi on my 6.0L hear in Co @6600' elv, would make about 14 in Ca. I don't know how much better a T67 is vs a T66 but it cant be much. With a T76 @16PSI I just made 581HP/690LB un corrected RWHP hear in Co 8500+DA. The corrected sea level numbers were 712/850LB. That would be at the same 16psi.

IAT and exhaust pressure go through the roof.

I was able to maintain 20+psi on my T76 as well. Didn't make any more power than 16psi at the time though because of back pressure.

1st hand from Harlan and Stenod. Ran the car at the track also.
Swapped to an S88 and went faster with less boost.

I'm just posting what I've seen.

So how fast did the 370 with a "max'd out" 4276 go? If it were anything less than 150, there was something very wrong. Most know that I've gone 146 at full weight with my T76GTS at minimum boost on 388 cid. Also, there are plenty of solid 8 second Mustangs running either the 76GTS or GT4276.

I'd be curious if any of the following were wrong with that combo (I've seen all of these reduce boost/power):
- Leaking BOV
- Weak WG spring
- Damaged turbine or compressor wheel
- Restrictive muffler or exhaust piping
- Restrictive intercooler or intake piping/MAF/TB
- Too small an air filter

Either way, there's enough data out there to prove that a 4276 is capable of well over 13 psi on 370 cid.

All of the above was the same for the GT42 and the S88... only thing that was changed was the turbo.....

The Turbo compressor wheel did contact the housing on the 2nd track outing.... the 1st outing was only a 10.7....

My brothers truck at EPP on their mustang dyno maxed out at 601 at 14psi. He has a 370 with l92 intake and this was through a th400 in a 1500 truck with 3:73 gears. It does spool quick but I would go 76 as the 67 is maxxed.

I made 630 rwhp on a T67 behind a 402. It was an oddball deal, weird set of parts, but it made 730 rwtq.

It would spike to 12#s, and not hold more than 8-9. That was with the wastegate completely shut fun street car, but when the customer gets more money, he will probably get a T76 ~. Again, he came across the shortblock for next to nothing, so sure its not ideal, I just installed the parts and tuned it, but we were way outta turbo

Waste gate 100% closed, engine won't take any more fuel, starts to fall off on top end.
