Did a little searching and found a lot on the 275 size, but not a whole lot on the 315. What do you guys run your Nitto's at on the street for everyday driving? How about the track as well? How long did they last you? Any other advice is appreciated as well, first time with DR's.

I ran 25-30psi on the street and for the track start around 23-20 and then lower the pressure if needed, ive heard of guys running 16-18psi at the track on DR's. Experiment a little and see what works best for you. Don't forget Nittos need a hell of a burnout(7-9 sec after you can see smoke) to really unlock their potential!

I run a 245 Nitto DR and with 30 PSI the middle wore out much faster than the side wall with street driving. I now run 25 PSI on my new set and they have a nice even wear.

25-30. I've had mine on for well over a year now of daily driving to work and school. For the price i'm very happy with how long they have lasted.

25 on the street, 18 at the strip. More than 30,000 miles on my last set! The last few were pretty hairy though! I've had them on all year for the last 3 years as a 120 mile round trip, daily driver.

Do these 7-9 second burnouts take off a lot of tread? If i keep doing burnouts like this i'm sure they aren't gonna last long right. Or are these made to heat up every once in a while

i have 22 psi on the street and will be dropping it down to 12 psi on the track. with a little burnout should bring the psi right at 15

I think what i meant was, do they wear faster than a regular tire doing burnouts? My firehawk ovals didnt last 5k. I really didnt do too many burnouts either.

my buddy had has his nittos on for 7 months and they still look to have some meat on them, but he doesnt burn out at all.

i am hoping for 10k miles on my nittos

i had the nittos on my T/A for like... a year or so, after about 10 track passes(car was mostly a daily driver) and then the last few months i started doing massive burnouts (like 10-15 second burnouts, clouds of smoke over entire parking lots, lol) and they started wearing down quicker. for the traction they offer however and the treadwear, they are a great deal. they last WAY longer than any drag radial i've seen and hook pretty decent.

ok so basically burnouts on nittos don't effect the tire wear quite as much as a normal tire. the tread still lasts somewhat even though you are heating them up with a burnout?

i got 315 nittos en route right now, so i'm just wondering what to expect from these things.

I run 28 in mine on the street which might be a bit much but they wear great. Whenever I'm racing I drop them down to about 18-20 and do a very good smoky burnout with them.

They hooked soo good in my 4.10 400RWHP car that they broke the rear end. Well...not really broke....more like shattered.
