Default 04 6.0 block what connecting rod length

While looking for connecting rods I noticed that the 04 6.0 has a smaller deck of 9.230 rather then the 9.240 it also says to zero at 9.213 and calls for a 6.098 rod length will I be ok running the 6.125 rod or will I run into PTV Problems.

The pistons are wiseco Dish, with two valve reliefs, Compression Distance (in): 1.115 in. Piston Head Volume (cc): +8.00cc

Piston to valve won't be an issue, but be aware that many of the iron blocks are quite a bit shorter than the 9.240 spec. You should have the deck height measured by a machine shop before you decide on which rod to run. You should aim for a minimum piston to head clearance of .040" or so...so a thick gasket might work with the 6.125's if you run the numbers and only have a bit of positive deck. Good luck, Brian Nutter -Wiseco Piston
