Default welding a cage in the car..

how much is it usually for a cage to be put in your car.. I heard $150 a weld from someone.. could be wrong... anyone?....

if its a 6 point jig notched, we charge 600 to install the 6 point, welded to together. but it has to be mild steel because we dont have a TIG, and Mig welding chromoly is not nhra legal.

yea i want to stay nhra legal... im looking into either a 63 nova... or a 70 nova. still undecided...... I am still reserching eveythign about it but i also hear you have to get it certified for certain times maybe it was 10.999.. Im going for high 10s low 11s... street/strip car...

yeah i would just go with a 6 point or 5 point, and just run mild steel, not much weight difference between chromoly and mild steel in a 5/6 point, plus its cheaper to buy and weld

you think it is excessive to go 10 point... or even 12 point then.. I mean im sure at soem poitn im gogin to throw some nitrious on it and maybe wanna run into the low 10s.. or high 9s.. i guess i just need to figure out what i want first...
