is this a possibility?
LS1 heads on a 400 CI gen I small block?

it would be easier to install on a ford 302 than it would be on a sbc and thats no joke to do believe it has been done

what ever happened to the ls1 heads on the 302 build up? that dude was hot and heavy about the setup and then never posted the results or anything.. Anybody got any info or links to a 302 or 351 with LS heads on it?

Seems too much $$$ to make the LSx heads work on the ford junk. In the end you just have something different, not anything that will be more powerful.

Actually, back in the late 80's-90's GMPP as well as Dart sold a "Buick" head that was for the SBC platform. It was meant for all out competition engines, but strangely, it had the cathedral ports and symmetrical layout that the current LSx heads have. They're pretty outdated now, but are similar to the LSx.

Yea, they used to make pontiac heads fir big block chevys due to high flow ability also.

they still make the pontiac head for the bbc and they also have a set for the sbc as well they're called Big Chief(BBC) and Little Chief(SBC)
