highway etiquette
ok just out of curiosity what would you consider acceptable. Your driving down the highway and see another sports car. do you shoot a rev, just drive by, pull up next to him? thoughts...

Depends on the end you are trying to obtain. You could rev, but in my book this is a bit more aggressive than just giving a thumbs up, so be prepared to drop the hammer if traffic allows. Give a thumbs up and I'll follow in kind.

Ive always thought if your driving by or side by side you both throw a rev to let each other know your down then honk it off or be kind and give them a jump, i hate ppl that sit in the fast lane and drive, the reason i asked this is when i threw a rev at a mustang and they just looked over liked they were pissed off lol

I never try to show off or try to get someone to race on the street. There is a place for that kind of thing. However, if I pull up to pass a fellow TA, I'll give him/her a little rev as a friendly hello.

I usually point and then thumbs up. Well, at least I used to. Now everybody has a ******* attitude so I no longer give a thumbs up unless they do it first. Or if they are driving some REALLY cheesy over-done f-body. You know the ones I mean; triplane spoiler, tribal tatto decals, clear headlights, taillights, corner lights, and rolling on some 20's...

I think revving at fellow f-bodys is alright but mustang guys usually seem to get pissed or don't really acknowledge what's going on.
I usually stick with the nod or thumbs up. Corvette guys always get the thumbs up too just because they know what's up.
