Default Is the crany pully a press fit or keyed? I have both.

Engine was bought in a disassembled long block form. The old crank is 2x keyed. My new crank is not. I assume the pulley just gets tightened on, correct.

Default

On my truck's LQ4, and it's replacement LS6, the shaft was not keyed for the crank pulley, I just had to heat the crank pulley until it slid on, and then tightened it down. Everyone says not to use the bolt to pull the pulley onto the crank because it barely grabs the threads inside until the pulley is partially installed.
