Default new rear tires, worn fronts....ses code trigger?

ses light came on and stayed on since I put one new rear tire on the car with 3 bald ones, drove 40 miles to Firestone, then replaced the other rear. now I have 2 brand new rears and two bald front tires. SES code or not?

Nobody will be able to tell you much unless you scan the car and see what code is being thrown.

I highly doubt it has anything to do with the amount of tread on the tires. Somebody may have hit or broke something to trip a sensor when putting the wheels on or taking them off though.
