Default Laptop Help! Girlfriend locked her Laptops BIOS password how can we reset it??

My girlfriend accidently locked up her computer without knowing and every time it boots up it loads to a black screen with a blue BIOS box that says "Enter Password" and wont go any further....

Any ideas how to get around this?
It's a Toshiba Satellite A215-S7413

Thanks

if its windows xp clear all the fields that ask for text

press ctrl alt del at the same time twice

enter
Administrator and leave the password area clear and you "should" be able to get in under the admin, then go to users and edit users and delete her password. log off and then simply have her log in w/o a password and then have her add a new password if desired

if its vista idk

Does it really matter what OS if it's the BIOS startup PW that is established within Bios only?

Pull laptop apart carefully. Remove all batteries. Find the watch battery. Remove. Follow above instructions.

Call toshiba, they can tell you a password that should unlock it. There is usually a default for mistakes like that. If they don't then you will have to take it apart and remove the battery like said above, which is a pain the butt.

If its only 6mons old, it's probably still under warranty. Don't tear it apart yet!
