I,m about to buy a auto 95 camaro z28 and i have two questions
If i stroke the lt1 to a 383 (cams, nitrous, etc.) will that drastically affect my gas mileage ?
Do anybody know where i can buy some fenders and body panels for the camaro?

It all depends on how you drive it...if I drive my cammed lt1 pretty hard, it usually gets around 10-13 and that is beating the crap out of it....when I drive to work I usually get around 17. You should not be worried about gas mileage, seriously, if you do not think you can afford the gas, or have to worry about it, buy a cheap honda to commute and save this as a weekend toy.

i'm hoping your doing this right and this isn't your only car... hot rodding your only car is a very stupid idea.. if it's not your DD i mean who really cares about the mileage of a "sunny day" type of car.
bottem line is if your can't afford a cheap beater, you can't afford to race.
i just scored a sweet deal on a very very nice car, the kid took a huge lose cause he tryed to hot rod his DD.

Lots of non-helpful comments here.
First, define what kind of mileage you are looking for. Not being 5 mpg is not quite clear enough.
Second, define how radical you would like the engine to be. Nitrous on the stock 347 is pretty good.
Third, it is a computer controlled, fuel injected engine. So your fuel economy will be reasonable, compared to a carbed car of the old days.
Best of luck.

I DD my car No subaru or honda driving me to work
This is on a 228 cam.
Do the homework, most critical step, and understand all the costs (or most them) prior to getting started. You will not be able to map out everything there will always be these nip-pick items that come up. Get quality parts or what your bank account will allow for...be sure to have fun with it. Be prepared for alot of work and time being spent!!
Good luck bro!

Mine's bored and/or stroked
Moderate Cam.
Full bolt-ons.
etc...
I got 26 last time I drove the interstate, and get about 17 or so putting around town.
So it's possible to get decent mileage and go fast.
