EGR Tube and Valve delete Seeing that I already have the EGR tube blocked off, is there any reason why I should't just take off the valve and block it off too?

No reason what so ever, buy your self a block off plate, or make one your self! That way you can get some more clutter out of the engine bay, and just seal it off for good!
