We now have a cam in testing even bigger than the G5X2...the TR 236. Yes it will fit in a stock headed LS1 with no problems and has been engineered to make more power up to 7000 RPM than any other 'street' hydraulic LS1 cam currently available. And yes it is still a reverse split. More results will be posted soon.

The cam is 236/230 .590/.570 so it is still a reverse split with an intake closing point the same as the TR 230. This cam is basically designed to have the same power band as the 230...just more of it. Heads that have been milled .005" should be fine.

How will it work with stock heads and upgraded springs, retainers..etc? What could i do with it, with stock heads and a M6?

This cam is primarily designed to work with stock heads. It will be fine with stock heads that have upgraded valvesprings.
Offaxis I will be in the shop this afternoon, give me a call.

What happeden to all the TR230 cams on the 110LSA? Mine is on a 110, but all the recent ones seem to be a 111, what is the reason for this?

21st century muscle cars in dallas did the dyno tune for me. i would not hesitate to recomend them to anyone. i was very impressed with their shop and the way every aspect of their company was run. and it was cool to see some 427 twin turbo vettes. anyway, i'm done with my plug.
1fastws6, i don't have any sound clips of my setup, but it sounds pissed off. there are some clips of a tr230 with duals at ls1database. you might look there

Geoff, is this cam available now? I'd be willing to pull my TR230 out and and install the TR236 cam right now, I don't have stock heads though, but I have valve reliefs!!
Have you guys considered doing a 236/236 or 230/236 cam??
Anyway, so has anyone switched from a TR230 to the G5X2 cam??
Dan
