Effective today, the current pre-registration deadlines and fees have changed:

In an attempt to increase turnout for the 2008 LTX Shootout, we have extended the online pre-registration until Monday April, 14th while keeping the fee at $52.00. After that date, you must register at the gate and the fee will only increase to $60.00 as opposed to $72.00. We currently have 47 registered participants and would like to see at least another 20-30 more pre-registered. 100 cars or more is the goal. I know some will not register but will show up and race the day of the event. Please help spread the word about the shootout and let's get the first ever LTX Shootout underway!

Not really sure. I hope to see 100 cars. This event will be one that will be talked about for a long long time.

Does this race apply to any vehicles that may have an LT1 engine?

I keep hearing about this shoot-out but I have not seen any links to the rules and such.

Is the race based on consistency or all out low ET's?

Sounds like a cool event, I would be interested in more details. Is this an annual event? Got any photos of the track? You don't have any bald queers flagging this event I hope?

Hell just fly up and enjoy the show. I hopefully have a few friends coming from Fla to watch the festivities and another one from CA who may be participating. Should be good times all around. I'd hate to think this would be the first and last, but if so I'd like to say I at least went.
I saw that I could get hotel and a round trip ticket for around $400.

Any vehicle with LT1 engine. Just make sure it meets the rules for the class you want to run in.
