I made plans to buy a Vortech kit thats in the FS section currently. The head unit needs a rebuild and I'll need a dampner, power steering lines, and other odds and ends, but none the less.

I'm going to take my time with the kit - going to do a braided oil drain, etc. My plan is to do as much as possible (most of the relocation stuff) before the kit goes on. Then I'll have minimal stuff to do - plug in the power for the water pump, mount the blower and I/C. Hoping to have the kit on, tweaked, and dyno tuned by December.

It'll be so long before I put it on because I learned the hard way how addicting boost is 2 years ago - I put a Vortech on my SVT Focus and got greedy and ended up chipping a piston. I did do a couple things half ***, and my driving habits have really settled down since then, but I plan to have money in full to buy a forged motor if something were to happen.

So, as I turn down the road that leads to blood, sweat, tears, a few select words, lots of beer consumption, and constantly empty pockets, any words of advice?
