Default Best way to correct speedo? Options? Please!!!

I need options plese, that I can do myself. I switched from 3:23 to 3:73.

PS I drove 3 hours to have a "unnamed shop" do this, and due to trafic, I was 1 hour away and the shop closed before I noticed what they did with LS1 edit didnt work...and I aoint in the mood to go back!

sorry dude....your stuck with driving back.....

The only way to change the speedo is to either reprogram the computer (LS1Edit or HPP3) or to get a converter that plugs into the speed sensor on the tranny and converts the speedo setting there (recalibrated for your new gears).

I don't see how they could have messed that one up......its easy to change the setting in LS1Edit...just punch in the new gear ratio (3:73) and save.....

Thats what I thought...duh...hello people...how could that happen period. I guess I'll just purchase edit...I duuno.

If you don't want to fork over the money for LS1 Edit, DMS (Dynamic Motorsports) sells a device for $100 that will correct your speedometer.
