Default Finally done, Updated with a video, and some pics.

Well after trials and trebulation, I finally got the car fired up today around 5:30....

Last night around 10 after the inlaws left, I went back out to work on it, when I probibly shouldn't of. I was trying to put the bolt in the oil pan and the string came off, and plop.... the bolt goes in to the oil pan. Well I called it a night after about 30 minutes of cussin.

Went to Autozone the next morning picked up a magnet, came home, and had it out within a couple seconds. Then after I successfully got the oil pump all the way on I started on the valve springs...

Did two full sets, and on the 3rd, ping... one of the retaining nuts went awol... Well after finding out TSP didn't send any like requested, I called around and found the dealership had only eight in stock, so I bought them all, just incase. lol.

After the valves springs were done around 2:30, every thing went like a charm.

I have a video and a whole bunch of pics. But I need to run to walmart and get a cable for the camera. And then I will post up the goods...

Car sounds amazing, idles at 650 right now, hopefully ellis will be availible tomorrow, cause I am coming over. lol.

The job was not as hard as I thought it was, but damn my back and neck are killing me. lol. It was a big help to have my buddy there as well.

Wow, I guess since my screen name doesn't say WAHUSKER, or Crisisman, or TwoFast4lv, or Robert56, It doesn't count in here.

Next time I will just keep my work to my self.... and not let you guys know.

Good choice on that cam for your auto...Kind of a pain in the butt but well worth it. The picture looking down the short block came out great..

You going to make it out to some CCC events this year?

Here...we'll pretend your one of them and I'm one of the other regulars here.

Great job! Looks great! Should run 9s!!! You'll put a few pesky Fords in their place with that! Sounds awesome!

So on and so forth.

But seriously, good job, Lane. Now give me back my extension cord.

Damn that sounds good... Nice work dude!
I've been looking at that cam for awhile now, I think Doug and Sideways have close to the same cam. Cant wait to see your car run down the track, I may just have to hook the juice back up now! That cam should put you into the 11's

Only thing I have planned for this year is SS3600 with transmission by Speed Secrets, underdrive pulley and electric waterpump.

I might be selling some ET streets mounted on ZR1's if your in need.............

Those pics bring back lots of memories about skinned knuckles and sore necks and backs. But it's all worth it when you're done and it runs better.
