Info wanted: Re-chromed or polished and widened rears. I am looking to get my wheels either re-chromed or polished. For starters how hard would it be to strip the chrome off my rims and polish them myself. Otherwise where can I get them re-chromed and what kind of price am I looking at. My 10-spokes are pitting real bad right now and I like the way they look on the car just want to clean them up. And then I would also like to check into getting the rears widened to either 10.5 or 11", where and how much can I look at getting this done for.

You can't "strip" chrome off. I media blasted a set of chrome wheels to get like 98% of the chrome off when it was already flaking but polishing after that would have been near impossible.
Check out Weldcraft wheels. A couple people on this board have gotten their wheels widened with them I think.
