I make "about"450rwhp unlocked, weigh 3750lbs........

11.02@123

I say "about" because I made 441 rwhp with 2 hurt pistons.

That et was with a 1.53 60ft on 600ft air.

Weight will KILL you, my converter is too tight for motor, but is about to get sprayed!

Well, my 430rwhp is locked.. I'm guessing it's about 400 unlocked based on the loss I saw with the other verter. With 410rwhp locked (385 unlocked), 3840 with me in it, 3,200 verter with a 26" drag radial I have gone 12.33 @ 110 with a 1.87 sixty foot.

I have a 4,400 verter in it now, 3.73's and a 30" tall tire. I know I need shorter gears but I want to spray at the track before I do a gear swap.

I think I have shaved about 150lbs going to:

Draglites (6" front 12" rear) from 7" steel wheels
215/75/15 front from a 275/50/15
30x13.50 ET street with no tubes from a 275/50/15 DR
Swapped in a manual steering box from a power unit
Removed front bumper

So if you had to guess an ET at 3,700 and 400rwhp unlocked, in a f-body, what do you think it would be?

That's gonna kill the na mph, not sure how much, at least 2mph I would guess.

My Camaro dynos 415rwhp unlocked, 8" verter, 4800 stall, 4.10's, 28's... 10.9@122 on a 1.48 and at like 3325-3350 raceweight. Car had 99mph in the 1/8 so it shows the potential for at least 10.6's...

uhhh ya no need for a 30 inch tire even spraying it.....

at the most use a 28 inch tire and on motor id say it will go 12.0 or so

Unless he's planning to spray 250-300, then he might need the tire. I think he could probably go 150+ on 30's with 3.73's.

I have a 2 stage kit going on the truck the first hit is a 100, second is a 200 and I can double up on the kits for 300.. I'm running the 30" tire as I do a lot of street driving. With the larger roll out and wider tire, it helps hook and keeps the revs down to 2k at 65mph.

I plan on stepping to a 3.90-4.30 gear if I can depending on what it will run mph wise at the track on the kits. But then I might stick with the 3.73's though as with the 30" tire I think I can lock the verter and still have enough to go 115-117mph at 7,400 rpm in second NA. (4L80E, 1.48 second) I'm told I shouldn't lock the verter though on the bottle. So the 3.73's might be right. That's why I want to try this gear on the bottle and see before I change it.

I'm all ears though

11.67 @ 117 is my best run, 3670 race weight, 3.73s, 3500 stall, 17" DRs, the car made 420 rwhp. Converter was holding me back, I hope.

I just got back from the track. Not very good, either my 3/4 clutch pack is toast, or I have an issue with the band. It nailed the limiter going into 3rd EVERY run, tweaking the computer did nothing, the log shows the car spinning to 7300 when it did. Regardless, best time today was 11.62 with a 1.62 60' at 117.5, video show's hitting the limiter 5 times (I was pissed and didn't let out, VERY bad idea I know), so hopefully once it gets the new clutches and we check the band it will run a 11.4X. 440 RWHP TCI 3500 stall. Full weight, lowered on a prokit, just LCA's and panhard, no relocation brackets.
