Default KYB front install question

I'm installing my front struts and springs right now, but I've run into a problem. I'm on the left front and bolting it back in and the at the bottom, where it bolts to the lower control arm isnt lined up, so I thought i could pivot rotated to shaft with the 2 holes 180* and line it up but its not wanting to budge. Should I give it some extra elbow grease or would I have to rotated the strut all the way around and have the adjuster pointed in? Dont wanna do that cause I'd have to re-compress the spring to move it around, and so far its been a PITA today.

Thanks.

Sorry to be the bringer of bad news, but I have the KYB's on my car and you're gonna have to compress the spring and rotate the whole thing. You can't just pivot the mount.
