Default Yella Terra Ultralites, Adjustable or Non-Adjustable?

I want to run the Yella Terra Ultralites on my cam swap. and I'm trying to decide if I should get the adjustables or non-adjustables.

I'm going to run a hydraulic cam now, but might conceivably run a mechanical sometime in the future. Adjustables also allow you to set lifter preload on hydraulics more precisely, right? Are there any disadvantages to adjustables, other than cost?

Some adjustables require a spacer under the valve cover for everything to fit.

I'm getting my adjustable ultra lites from patriot tomorrow...i'll let you know how they workout. I also plan to go mild solid roller in the future, which is why I went with the adjustables. FYI you do need valve cover spacers or taller aftermarket valvecovers to run the ultralite adjustables.

If the adjustment screw is above the pushrod and not at the fulcrum where it pivots, then you may need more spring to maintain control. Also, if the adjustment is not at the fulcrum (like the Cranes), you have to set the wipe pattern first.

It's obvious but nobody has stated it. Non adjustables are lighter (Vettenutts alluded to it). I would go non-adjustable every time unless there was a chance I might go solid.
