Damn Alex! WTF. So that's why you had the bowtie plate on tonight... lol

They either...

1) Liked what your plates said, and wanted a new wall ornament

2) Had a stolen white Camaro they wanted to be "legit" for a short time (as suggested above)

OR

3) They were hatin on a brotha!

Bunch of desperate people..1st it's catalytic converters, then gas, now license plates. One way to prevent them stealing the tags is to get a knife & slice through it like 3 or 4 times, this way they can't peel it off, But they are stealing plates now..

I think they just snatched them off, and I swear they're probably hangin up in some kids room, right next to a picture of batman and Carmen Electra.

I guess that's life, ya gotta take the bitter with the sweet. I have a back up set though, but I gotta pay for new stickers now. It's not about the money, just the inconvenience ya know.

Thanks for lookin out fellas....

dude, this is retarded. When I was a kid the worst we would do was maybe hit the occasional mailbox with a baseball bat, or take a dump on someone's front porch. Stealing plates is stupid because it really ***** over the person in the car. I guess smashing a mail box is kind of bogus, but it does not keep them from getting thier mail....

No, but it's a federal offense.

The government stole your plates as payback for all the mailboxes they had to replace.

Federal offense? Oh well. Happened over 10 years ago, I think I am good.
Never had my plates stolen.

This is a great question.

I know down in Louisiana, New Orleans area in particular, there were reports of a group of people targeting our cars. Saw a thread on it with a map showing the incidents (theft, attempted theft, etc.). It was tracked by a sponsor on here, LGM or Futral, I forget which one. Great work since finding stolen cars is on the bottom of the police department's list.
