I am testing the waters for selling my HTPC gaming machine. I am hanging onto my Geforce 8800 for my new quad core machine, but I wil be throwing in a 256mb Geforce 6800 Extreme. With this card, the computer will score in the 55,000 range with Aquamark 3. Here are the specs.

-Biostar Tforce 6100-939, socket 939, uATX, 6 channel audio,
-DUAL CORE AMD Opteron 165 processor OC'd to 2.3Ghz, stock 4 pipe cooler lapped and using Arctic Silver 5.
-1.75 gigs of PC3200
-Lightscribe DVD burner, dual layer
-Leadtek Winfast TV tuner with remote.
-Chieftec Matrix full tower in MINT condition(green silver)
-Antec 350 watt PS
-XFX Geforce 6800 Extreme 256mb ddr3 PCIe x16
-no hard drive(sorry folks- I have to keep my OS)- hard drives are cheap these days.

I am asking $450 for this, but shipping will be about $60 because of the case size. I am willing to sell without the case if someone is interested.

sorry mate, but the unit is worth more around 300, those parts are kinda outdated and no HDD or OS? I would try around 300 shipped. Looks good though, i like the theme you're running. I'd also try to get a benchmark in 3dMark06. its a more popular benchmarking tool.

That is your opinion I guess, but the $500 sitting in my Paypal account disagrees with you. This "outdated" system with my 8800 will play all of my games with all of the pretty stuff turned up.

These processors still fetch about $120 used, the dual HD tuner sells for about $100, and the 6800Extreme still sells for about $90- and I sold an identical case on eBay last month for $100.
