^^^^^ +1 to that. I spent 9 weeks there, left almost every weekend, and I still hated it. Did not help that it was in the middle of summer and I had been living in San Diego for a year. Argh. Might not have minded if they had shipped me there straight from Iraq.

If you park your car at 29, do NOT use a car cover. The sand will get under it, the wind will blow, and it will work like sand paper on your paint. No car cover, and 95% will just glance off, causing no damage. Treat your door and ttop sealant, and your dash. That way the sun does not cook it too bad. Even if you have one of those windown sun deflectors, still put UV **** on your dash. Make sure you check your tire pressure and all pressure for that matter. You are in high desert, and a lot of things can happen to your car that you have never delt with before.

yeah, thats exactly what i was talking about! i should be gettin the z painted next week, if everything goes well. i will also be lowering the car this weekend. im gonna be doin my tailights also but not sure how im gonna do mine, covers or vht, what did u use?

Dude, dont use the covers out here. if you want visual proof i'll show you, they actually do heat up enough to bubble the tail light. I VHT'd a 2nd set of tails and will be putting them on soon. VHT is your friend.

ive got that black z28 that used to have the white fiberglass ram air hood, i have the stock one back on it now and selling the fiberglass one. i prolly have the loudest camaro one base so its hard to miss me haha.
