Default weird misfire

well, i swapped a cam today and i'm getting a flashing SES light, i pulled a few plugs and one the tip where the wire clicks on was lose(it threads on) so i tightened it and put the wire back on and started it and the misfire was gone, i started down the road and it came back. it seems like there's a little backfire when the light flashes during acceleration. what's up with this? i'm gonna change the plugs out with some new TR6s tomorrow mornin and see what happens...anyone got any ideas?
