Default Got my 11 at Famoso yesterday, FINALLY!!

Amazingly we got in that private event that was postponed a couple of times. We got a late start but no rain at all, cold & windy. The track was not really that great, I couldn't 60' for ****. I got lucky though. I was just about to do my burnout and the crew stopped us..They sprayed a good amount of VHT on the line. I was friggin stoked, I figured this was my opportunity right here since my best time was only a 12.05 with a 1.66 60' for the day..Wammo, car hooked like a banchee. Here is the result (car 129) 98 Trans Am

Sweet wish I had been able to see ya'lls runs and make some good passes myself...

I think I might have been there a whole 10 minutes before I broke my car and had to run home for parts and got back just in time to hear the 5 minutes left call...

So did anyone get a vid of me breaking on the line?

Didn't a Mustang Break too? He dumped the clutch & boom..What happened to your car Formula1996? After drag racing my differential whines a hell of a lot more than normal. I guess it's time for a fluid change.

Yeah I just got done installing a UMI torque arm with the safety loop a few weeks before hand. I broke the drive shaft clean into 2 peaces. Here's the thread: https://ls1tech.com/forums/gears-axles/871302-broke-my-driveshaft-3k-launch-common.html

Luckily I had a spare at my house and after 3 hours on the road and about 15 minutes of repair time, drove her home with no problems.
