SSBC, Right?
I am running it right now. It will fit stock 17" wheels. I have been running it since September '07. It is just as reliable as the stock setup and replacement replacement parts are easy to find. The pads that are included are a little dusty, but it stops on a dime. I have no complaints about it.
I did though swap out their slotted rotor for my Double-Drilled Slotted rotor.

Yeah, SSBC,
anyone else had expirience with theese brakes.
Will the fact that they're aluminum make the weaker as time goes by.

No because the calipers are billet aluminum. The casting will hold for quite some time.

Yeah, the calipers don't crack. Stock LS1 calipers are aluminum, as well as C5 calipers, and the calipers on just about every performance car out there.

Also, what is availability of the pads. Can I just get some replacements in a parts store like Autozone, or do I have to order them from SSBC

The pads use a standard FMSI Indexing number that all brake pad suppliers & retailers use.
If I am not mistaken it is D531 for the pads which fit the 3000GT VR-4.
