A 9" for a 6 speed and a Strange 12 bolt for an auto is the norm. If it were me, I would just get a 9". They are stronger, cheaper, have more options, and a lot easier to work on. Just my .02

Mine I got a moser houseing and 35 spline axles. Then got a Strange Pro Nodular third member with Motive Performance 4.30's and a detroit Locker. Should be about bullit proof.

I fixed your post for you.

To the original poster...have you even tried to research this topic? I only ask because it comes up every single week, if not every single day.

The only problem with a 9 inch is if you don't have TC. That's my issue and I want to keep my ABS so I'm going with a 12 bolt

You now have an ABS option with the Moser 9 inch, so you don't have to settle for a 12 bolt. The ABS option cost $175.00 and I have sold quite a few of the in the last several months since it became available. Bob

I paid $2550 shipped to my door. The axles had new reluctor rings installed and the case had a drain plug. Gears were set up properly and are quiet and the customer service was A++++ and were "johnny on the spot" with any and all questions I had.

That's the best news a guy can hear other than hearing back from a one night stand telling you she's not pregnant. I was bummed that I had to go with a 12 bolt until now. Thanks for the great info!
