Default can't bleed system

Okay, it's not on my Z28 thank god, but on my work truck. It's a 1988 GMC Sierra. It has a 4 speed from a dump truck with the low granny in 1st so i start out in 2nd. anyways...
I can't get it to bleed and build up pressure. It has a braided hose with nylon tubing inside. it got turned into a ground when it touched the valve covers. replaced the line. bled it.. nothing. new slave cylinder... nothing! new clutch master cylinder...NOTHING!!! I gravity bled, pumped the crap out of the clutch pedal and me and my friend still can't get the clutch to feel normal. We took the end of the line from where it goes into the slave cylinder and when you put your finger over it, it builds pressure. i'm going to try to exchange out the slave and master cylinder tomorrow, but i want to hear someone else's thoughts on this.
Thanks

Default

Sound like the kind off situation when a power bleeder or mity-vac would be in order to help bleed it out.
