Default Convertible K-members

Are the convertible k-members wider than the coupe k-members??? I cant get a 98-02 ttop kmember on the 2001 convertible V6 camaro.
It seems to be too short, by about 1/2 inch.

The K-member widths are all the same and mounting locations. The convertible model just has extra bracing.. so it should go in. The motor mounts are different then a V6 too.

Thanks! i guess the kmember is bent then, cause I tried and tried to align it and it just wont budge. (Could sure use a UMI k-member right about now )
I got all 3 drivers side bolts in and only 1 pass side bolt in (the one closest to the nose)...
