Default trex vs g5x4

ok heres the thing me and a buddy have the same setup 243s, pacesetter headers,duals ls6 intake s3 tb clutch but he has a trex and u/d pullies and i have just a x4 what do you think the out comes of a race would be... and what kinda power do you think we are making? any specs for the x4?

Probably going to be a driver's race. Power-between 420-450 rwhp on either car.

the G5x4 seems to be a great cam that doesn't get a whole lot of notice compared to the T-rex.I have the x4 myself and seems to work out good. But like the guy said above, probably whoever is a better driver will take the win. I was pm'd some G5x4 specs awhile ago but who know's if they are absolutely 100% accurate. I just started a new job that has one of those cam doctors. So if I ever take my cam out, I'm deffinately gonna measure it.

The X4 specs are very close to the T-Rex. Close enough to make the race come down to the tune, chassis setup and driver. Both are great cams.

I just can't believe with cams that size neither of you dyno-tuned them. Or at least went to a dyno day and paid the $50 to see what's going on.

tuner/driver/raceweight race. cams are very similar.

well it seems like its going to be a drivers race! cars are tuned by the same guy!!!
