T70 on a 5.3
I was planning on buying a cheap T70 turbo of ebay(like$300) but I wondering if the A/R is to small? What A/R should I be looking for, this one is .70? Is this a bad idea?

I would suggest a new one for as cheap as they are, if I had a truck I wasn't daily driving and could build the kit myself I would try an ebay one.
Look at what parish did with a stockish 5.3 and a MP T70. He used a .96 exhaust, but remember AR is relative to the actual turbo. .96 on a T70 is small, .96 on a bigger turbo might be large.

I have a master power t-70 turbo with a .68 a/r exhaust housing on both the 4.8 in the truck (in sig) and on the 5.3 I put in my dads '72 Chevy 4x4 truck. The 72, is just setup with a MAF tune and runs 5 psi and performs great. I ran my truck up to 14 lbs at the track last weekend and it ran AWESOME. I would guess it made around 550rwhp on pump gas and WWF for meth. The dyno numbers in sig are are with 11.5 psi of boost. I've been quite happy with these MP T-70 turbos. For around $600 new, there are hard to beat for a budget setup.
