Default Confused..

Im doing a M6 swap into my 95 z and im a little confused.

I know I need a master cylinder and a slave cylinder. first what the difference. also.. where does the reservoir go??


Please bare with me im a super noob when it comes to a manual.

The slave cylinder goes inbetween the pressure plate and the transmission. The Slave has a big spring that pushes the throwout bearing to the teeth on the pressure plate.

The master cylinder goes on the firewall by the clutch pedal. The reservoir is connected to the master and mounts behind the base of the hood support on the drivers side kinda under the cowl. There is a stainless braided line that runs from the master to the slave. The master is what supplies the hyrdaulic pressure to the slave.
