I got a set of used front Koni SA shocks. They came installed on 01 Camaro SS springs. I plan on installing them this week on my 1997 Trans Am. Will the ride be terrible with LS1 springs up front? I read that the Camaros springs are 292 lbs/in , while the LT1 springs are 310 lbs/in. I'm new to the suspension world. To me they don't sound like they are incredibly different, but I could be wrong.

I'm assuming these springs are installed on the lower perch. If they weren't the lower perch groove would be visible? Correct?

I'm going to order the 4th gen rear shocks this month from Sam Strano. I plan on deleting the rubber isolator.

Not a huge difference, once you are adjusted properly, you will LOVE this setup. Ask Sam his advice, via phone, when you purchase the rears.
