Default I Got A Turbo! What Do You Guys Think?

I bought this turbo a while back for my LT1 S10 and now that plans have changed I thought about using it on my T/A. Here's the specs:
Compressor
Inducer - 69.72mm
Exducer - 106.68mm

Turbine
Exducer - 85.12mm
Inducer - 94.11mm

I couldn't find any A/R ratios or anything on the housings, but I can tell you the compressor has a 3 1/2" outlet, and the exhaust has a divided housing & 5" v-band outlet. If it looks close enough, I think I'm going to try it. What do you guys think?

I don't have anything useful to add, but WTF were you planning to do with a turbo that large on an S10? Maybe when the heads exploded into the back of the truck you could get traction?

I'm running a mildly built LT1 out of a Caprice w/ ported Corvette aluminum heads, custom 3-link rear w/ QA1 coil-overs, fuel cell, etc. It's not quite a stock S10. I just figured it could use a little more kick to it
But, like I said, my plans changed.

My first post was half-joking, but seriously, any turbo with a 3.5" compressor outlet and 5" downpipe is ENORMOUS. You really need to speak to someone more knowledgable about your overall goals/plan. I don't know what turbo you have, but I have a feeling it is MUCH to big for your plans.

That turbine side seems huge in comparison with the compressor. Not to mention the 5" inlet and 3.5" outlet means you probably have a huge compressor a/r. I'm guessing at some point this turbo was installed on a large diesel and won't work very good for an LS anything. Its quite mismatched for what you'll be wanting to do with it, lag will be awful from the dynamic seals required for diesel use and the compressor/exhaust wheels are probably older than me.

It would seem that turbo would need some big cubes to spool it up. Does seem rather large.

Sell it and buy D1SC kit. Will be less headaches for you.
