2200 REV LIMITER clutch pushed in, neutral will goto 6k

Default 2200 REV LIMITER clutch pushed in, neutral will goto 6k

the car wont rev past 2200 with the clutch pushed in, pedal to the floor. clutch out in neutral the car will rev to 6k . what is going on here.

dont know much about asr (traction control)....do you have it and is it on when it wont rev past 2200?

this is sitting still, car in neutral, car wont go past 2200 rpm with the clutch depressed. cluth out it will go fine.

after taking off , and letting the clutch out fully, you can drive past 2200 rpm, but when you goto shift it gets all fuckered up.

semms to be the clutch switch! that is the switch sensing the position of the clutch pedel! or if not im guessing TPS??? give the pedel siwtch a try by disconnecting it and driving it dat way! but watch out as the car will start without the clutch pushed in!

he called me earlier and said that he removed some cruise control thing and it fixed it, hes going to go buy a new one of whatever he took off...

turns out it was the clutch safety switch
