Default knocking on launch

So the past few times i have been at the track i heard a knocking noise when i took off and i didnt really make notice of it. Well tonight i was at the track and when i launched i heard the noise a little bit more, almost like poping, but once i got off the line it wouldnt do it anymore. Has anyone ever had this same problem?

I have and it was the torque arm hitting the bottom of the car. You might look under the car in the tunnel area above the torque arm to see if that might be it.

So last night i was under my car and looked at everything. Torque arm seemed fine. So i checked my transmission mount, and the front tq arm mount. The tq arm mount had a split in the rubber so im wondering if its moving when i launch. Also on the driver side the rubber on my bump stop is gone and on the passenger side the bump stop is half gone. I wouldnt think my rear would drop down that far so i dunno if thats the problem.

He had us install a Moser 12 bolt in his car, as he did not trust the 10 bolt. Bob

Stick a pry bar under the trans crossmember and see if the tranny mount is shot. Bob

Bent the torque arm like that and he claimed to have never lauunched it hard. Gotta call BS there. Someone that never launched the car and wants the 10 bolt replaced due to lack of trust. That dont sound right. Clearly he was not honest or did not provide the rest of the story to you Bob.
