Default What's my stock LS1 shortblock worth?

It's in my 2000 Z28 with ~60K miles on it. Still in the car and runs like new. What approx. would it go for? Thanks!

PM me when you decide on a price. I'm near the twin cities.

Is it still in the car?

Stock short blocks go for about $1000 - $1500.

Really? That's about what I was thinking but I wanted to know from people who have had experience selling one.

Yes 99ssleeper, it's still in the car so you can hear it/see it/feel it run still for about a week and a half until I pull it.

I would say $700 cause I got a 02 long block from LS6 intake to oil pan for $1300 with only 25K.

I paid $1500 for mine -- 02, 25k miles, ls6 block & intake, no oil pan or valve covers. Sold the intake on here 3 hrs after I got home w/ it! I have a 99 that needs rebuilt. I haven't posted it cause I thought it was really worth much.

Default short block

I bought a 04 ls6 s/b 4,500mi -kinda - no cam, lifters, pan or covers for $1200 shipped. IMO a ls1 would be worth $750 if he can see/hear it run

Less than $1K. There is a local guy trying to sell one for $600.
