I'm running a stock ls6 motor with a paxton supercharger. Are there gains to be had with a ported TB or larger unit?

very little hp gains.. guys run stock LT1-LS1 and up with stock tb's pushing 800hp or so. i just sold my blower and had a 58mm TB on my LT1. no clue if it made any difference really maybe 5hp gain which is lost in the valve train and having a auto car more lose. i would port your's before i would buy a aftermarket one.

with a ported TB, i'd say you could gain like 1-3rwhp, if anything....

I would spend the money else where. unless your planning on pushing over the hp level i said.

With my procharged setup I had Bo White do my TB. I never did a before and after but I do know the throttle response was better with the ported TB.
