Paint & Body Work - Just got my car painted.

These are before and after pics of my car. It was blue now it is SOM.

looks much better in the SOM now and it looks like they did a good job too! Did you get all the door jambs done as well and the engine bay?

I got the door jams painted also but when i pull the motor soon then i'll either paint the engine bay black or body color

IDK man that blue is sweet....

DAMN man thats my favorite color and ever since I picked up my Camaro I wanted to paint it that color.

How much did this run you?

that blue was or is real rare in 99 only yr they made that color in.

That blue wasn't the original color. It was a dark purple color originaly. The paint job cost me $2300 and i am very satisfied

I like the way that hood looks (when the car was blue). Why did you switch?

Maybe it's me but it looks to sit a bit high. Nice ride though. Congrats on a sweet paint job.

damn! that came out nice.

That hood was ugly imo. Somebody took the scoop of a factory car of some type and put it on a factory hood. That hood weighed twice as much as the stock hood with all the body filler they had in it. Someone else wanted it and i traded for their stock hood

the blue was nice glad to see the wing and the rear valance off. som looks killer though. now just lower it.

That blue is amazing!! Even though I love SOM I would of kept it that blue with a different hood and spoiler since it stands out more than SOM would IMO.. Both colors are awesome though!! Now fix that bumper and hood gap..

Sweet paint job! I also like the Berger panel. I can't see for sure but it looks like Firestone Wide Ovals on the rear, how do you like them? I'm thinking about getting a set very soon.

It looks much better now with the new paint, hood, and spoiler. Any plans to lower it a bit?

SOM looks great but that blue was gorgeous too! any reason for the repaint? blue paint in bad shape or soemthing? looked perfect to me...

Looks good, but you need to fix that hood/bumper gap...

I plan to lower it soon. The blue paint was terrible and i just like SOM so much better

I think that blue looked really good minus the spoiler and hood. I dont know though. SOM is awesome too.
