Problems with pacesetter Y and LM1

Default Problems with pacesetter Y and LM1

Well I went to install the pacesetter Y and the LM1, apperently those parts don't jive! Anybody had any experiance with this? Drove the car home with open headers lastnight, I don't really want to do that again lol.

Can you get a pic of it Shawn. I know when I had my y pipe and magnaflow cat back I had to cut like 12-18" off the front of the cat back to make them work.

The car has open headers now. It looks like im gonna have to cut that little I-pipe and expand it. If anybody has anypics of that setup under the car that would be great.

I had the same problem. The LM is designed to work with factory y-pipe. So the LM inlet is smaller than the 3-inch pacesetter y-pipe. Cut the inlet off the LM and weld on a increaser to fit over the y-pipe. That's what I did.

i just welded everything together. there isnt a clamp in the whole system lol. i dont like leaks.
