Don't know if there is supposed to be a trick to these dang things in but I couldn't seem to get the couple I tried this afternoon. When I pulled my stock ones they definitely took some effort to get out. The new ones are delphi 42's for my 98 TA.
What's the trick to getting these in? Yes I searched, it's my friend :eyes:

I use a small dab of motor oil on the o-rings and they pop right in.

Thanks fellas, I haven't tried that. Do they have a distinct stop when they are all the way in?

Yep, a little motor oil on the O-ring. You will know when they slide in the hole all the way.

Ok got them in the rail. One more question; when do you know they are down enough into the intake? Some of the injectors kind of popped in while other just kinda went down....the bracket on both sides was flush so I assume they were down far enough. Any thoughts?

I'm preparing to do an injector install as well, lookin at the 42# delphi lucas injectors. After installation, am I going to need to retune?

Yes, if you have the 26 or 28lb stock injectors you will need a retune or you will run super rich and may mess up the engine!
