Florida Members - Daytona area

well heres the story, i'm from new york, and i'm heading down to New Smyrna in april for a week and was wondering if there are any car meets going on down there? i realize there are alot of retired folks in that area but was wondering if there are any fellow ls1tech'ers there? the z28 is currently away for the winter as there is a shit load of snow here right now.. just looking to meet new people and see some nice cars.

The second saturday of every month there is a meet on canal st. Nice show. I go about every other month. I will be there this saturday. If you are in town for that, I will bring mine over and meet up!

Either way, I live about a half hour from New Smyrna. We'll meet up somewhere. Another member and I end up at one of our houses for bs and beer regularly!

Relocated NYer here. There is a sick show on the third Sat of the month in Ormond Beach at the huge Harley dealership off 95 too.

I don't think Daytona is a "retirement" area though bro....lots of young punani.

now where is canal street, in daytona or new smyrna? and how far away is ormond beach?

Very few cops around where I am. Most usually drive @ 80-85 on 95.

Ormond Beach is about 20 min or so from New Smyrna.

Heading south from Palm Coast on 95 you hit Ormond, then Daytona, then Port Orange, the New Smyrna

my break is from the 11th to the 20th, i might be able to make it to some meets

I live in Ormond Beach. might have to meet up with ya.

nahh, unfortunately the car is off the road for the winter. if i were to drive it down it would be so expensive. i get terrible gas mileage.. prolly needs a tune.
