Default really soft pedal with spec 5....

i just got my turd rolling & the pedal is VERY soft.... like as soft or softer then the textralia i had, similar to a stock pedal feel.

i have new hydraulics (stock, GM) with the drill mod, the shim is in there. everything is tight & blead GOOD! (i just know someone is gonna mention that ) the pedal has about 1-1.5" of free travel also. it does release about middle/up towards the brake pedal though and the pedal/release is consistent.

i have about 40 miles on it FWIW...

just wandering if anyone else has had this problem (yes i want a fairly firm pedal!)

The car is shifting fine and the engagement point is where it should be...that being the case it really doesn't sound like you are having an issue. If you pump the pedal does it firm up? If so then there is still air in the system.

no nothing changes the pedal feel. i just wish it was a little firmer..... how much break in is required for this thing? 513rwhp n/a in a 3600lb car... 7200 dump from the limiter

Stage 5 is a little different than most of our other offerings. There is really no "break-in period" because this is technically a race clutch. I do suggest seating it in a bit but 100 miles should do it. Let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks!
