well....I KNOW a 60 cc chamber on a stock 5.7L shortblock (01 LS1) with the factory gasket makes 11.1:1 CR.....so...work from there....

BYBY, I'm not positive on the CR with 5.3's milled .015 but I do know the valve selection can change the compression by like .1 depending on if the vale is dished or flat.

swap that gasket to a Felpro and you get 11.4:1

really.......hmmm....whats the thickness of a Felpro gasket vs. the stock (I think stock is 0.050" crushed right?) and where can I get one.....that might be a good little upgrade

Napa auto parts carries them. I would try a parts store rather than a sponsor because it would probably be a little cheaper.
