Default Cleaning O2 sensors????

I just pulled my front O2s... passenger side (side I was having a problem with) was black w/carbon buildup... (this is within 1000 miles of heads/cam/intake/headers)

Driver side was black at base but tip was still ok....

I swapped both with new sensors... is there any way to clean O2 sensors? Any way to get rid of the carbon buildup w/out hurting the sensors??

I once heard of using a propane torch.

It may be so degraded that it's not worth saving at this point. Just a thought.

The local used car dealers claim they can clean up a dirty O2 with brake fluid and get rid of O2 related SES lights etc. I have no idea if it would work.
