Bad bearing noise... help identify
Heres a vid of the noise. I replaced the auto tensioner, no A/C on the car. I took the belt off and started it and the noise goes away completely. When I spin the water pump idler, and the other 2 idlers they spin freely with no noise, but the PS pump won't, also the alternator is smooth and makes no noise. It spins like a half turn and makes a clicking sound, so I'm guessing its bad, unless its supposed to do that. Don't mind the image I just wanted to get the sound as good as I could. Its the grrr grr grr noise.

If it's a bearing you might be able to wiggle it. Actually it could be the water pump because with the belt on it will put tension on everything.
Only other thing you might do is get a stethescope and listen with the belt on.
A bad bearing will only make noise until it gets worse and fluids start leaking or it fails completely. There may be no other symtoms until it gets worse.
