P0405 , Is this what the bottom of the EGR should look like?
Okay so my car keeps throwing me P0405 which supposedly means the EGR isn't in the correct position. I was going to have this code deleted but the few performance shops around here haven't called back with a price yet.
So I looked into actually fixing the problem instead of deleting it, and found my EGR, the bottom looked like this...
The side with the screw in it, is this supposed to move? I couldn't get it to budge...is a screw even supposed to be there?

The code won't do any harm, while your in there remove the AIR tubing and pull the AIR fuse from the fuse box under the hood, free hp and saves u money
Edit: to plug the egp hole in the intake just tage the grommet that falls out of it when u pull it out to advance or auto zone and get a soft plug, works great doesnt look to shabby either
