Default new lifters please

i need a new set of lifters and need a little help, i have heard you can use ls1, ls7 and others. Basically i need a set i can rev to 6500 safely and that are somewhat not expensive becuase i cant afford 450-600 dollar lifters. I did a search and found scoggin used to carry them for like 110 dollars but dident see that on there sight. if you know a sponser that sells these (and pushrods also would be sweet) let me know please

I just put these in last weekend and they are a direct replacement. No more ticks with 1/2 preload!

ive revved a set out to almost 7k with no problems. for the money though the ls7 lifters are just as affordable and are proven also.

you need a different length push rod to use a LS7 lifter, and the only LS7's that are made to go to 7k are the $200 ones, the $110 lifters are just the stock lifters fyi and are not the re valved racing caddy lifters

For the pushrod length to be correct, you can't just guess. You need to mock it up with an adjustable length pushrod tool. Then measure the length and, order the right ones.

So you are saying the lifters that GM puts in the Z06 with a 7000 RPM redline aren't capable of handling 7000 RPM's?

As far as the OP just go with the LS7's from SDPC.

your wrong, the GM ls7 lifters are good too 7K, what do you think the zo6's are revved too, and these are the exact lifters in the vette. the caddy lifters are overkill for what most of us guys will need. I have the ls7 lifters, they work flawless and i am very happy with them, sdpc has them for around 100$ and I highly recomend them. also you will need to check for pushrod length, the ls7's have a deeper cup but my setup is not like yours so I can not give an exact size.
