Default Taylor Wires for LT1 any good?

Anyone w/ experience with these wires(gunna be bought from Summit) can say they are a quality piece? I'm trying to save some money from the MSD 8.5.

My current wires were routed incorrectly around my LTs, they are starting to fray and the car is beginning to misfire a little under load. Does anyone know what I'm going to need to route these bad boys correctly?

Thanks for any opinions.

I like the kit, NOT impressed with the wires. They arced a lot at first, and they still arc a little bit on me when i gun the throttle hard at a low RPM. Someday im going to switch to different wires, but i dont feel like dealing with that nightmare yet. Theyre OK wires.

I like mine you can get the side mounted ones for the canton valve covers like i got. They actually bolt to the heads and not the valve covers.

I haven't had a single problem with mine since I put them on! They have been on my car since August of 2007 and I daily drive my car without a hiccup. I can look at them at night and they don't arc one bit. These are the OTVC set from Thunder Racing by the way.

They're all I've run for years now. No problems noted.

I used to run them till my coil wire out of nowhere started arcing so bad my car wouldn't even start. I have run several sets of MSD wires too and could see spark leaking out around the boot. Now I run the Moroso wires and I like them a lot. I actually have them mounted in the factory wire holders with my Pacesetter LTs and the setup is great with plently of room.

my personal opinion is that niether MSD nor taylor are any good. Ive had the best luck with factory delcos, problem is they arent the right length for OTVC!

I've had my taylor wires on there for like a year or two. No problems I know of. Using a delteq unit and I also have these braided fiberglass boots/sleeves where the wires are near the headers.
